Happier better new year. My mom's interment was a month with a rush to clean out her place so finally a space of time to deal with the actual hurt . Josh got his book from inside to out in the world so the book I am looking for now is yours. Always cheering you on, writer, but it's your story so it takes what it takes and celebrate both pages writ and pages cut. Love from us.
Loved this update - and the metaphor through crashing parties in Paris, things expected and unexpected, and the play on Hang your head (in despair of falling behind!???) versus hang your hat. Congratulations on the new home, and yes...keep going. Hope to see you soon!
Happy New Year... Congrats on your new house... we bought a new place too this year and moving took more out of me than I expected it to! I'll bet your Mom's spirit was with you when you were in Paris... Hugs, it's so hard to lose our moms...
Sometimes our creative projects just take more time than we think... I have several that will hopefully see the light of day this coming year... Here's to more light and centering in the new year!

Thank you, Mikey! I'm getting there with the book and I'm always heartened to know you're cheering me on. <3
What a bittersweet memory. Congratulations on the house.
Retirement leaves me with mixed emotions but is in balance positive. You'll enjoy it when your time comes.
Thank you, John--I'm glad to hear the mixed emotions lean positive!

Thank you, Shannon! I hope we can meet up soon, virtually, but perhaps in person later this year--we promised each other a writing residency!

Thank you, Ann! Here's to finding that creative light in the new year.
Thanks Rachel… I’ve got a painting I need to finish by 1/19 and hoping it begins to shine into it very soon ;~D …
"...returning to find your center again and again (and again)."
I'm so glad to have gotten to read your words again. And I'm so sorry about your mom.
And I'm going to be thinking of you dancing and party crashing in Paris for a long time.
Happy New Year (and December birthday!), Rachel. Wishing you all the best ❤️
Thank you, Tara! Happy New Year to you as well. xoxo
